運河を挟む2つの建物と屋上庭園が特徴で、長崎港のパノラマビューと共に、スペインと長崎ゆかりの美術品を鑑賞できます。

開館時間は10:00～20:00です（1月2日・3日は18:00閉館）。休館日は、第2・第4月曜日（祝日または振替休日の場合は翌火曜日）と12月29日～1月1日です。
入館は無料ですが、企画展、コレクション展、イベント、カフェ利用には料金が必要です。
一般420円（団体340円）、大学生310円（団体250円）、小中高生210円（団体170円）、70歳以上310円（団体250円）です。長崎県内の小中学生は無料、障害者手帳提示者および介護者1名も無料です。
クレジットカード（Visa, Mastercard, JCBなど）、電子マネー（iD, 楽天Edy, 交通系など）、コード決済（PayPay, d払いなど）が利用可能です。
貸出用車椅子とベビーカーをご用意しております。1階受付にお申し出ください。
「撮影可」の表示がある作品または展示室に限り、写真撮影が可能です。フラッシュ、三脚、脚立、自撮り棒の使用はできません。撮影した写真は個人利用に限ります。
