世界的に活躍する日本画家・千住博の新作襖絵が、高野山金剛峯寺で長らく白襖となっていた茶の間と囲炉裏の間へ奉納されることになりました。本展ではその完成記念として、奉納に先駆け、これらを紹介します。総延長17メートルの《断崖図》、25メートルの《瀧図》から成る奉納画は、画家自身が画業の集大成と位置付ける大作になりました。
