金魚に魅せられ、創作を続ける美術作家・深堀隆介。透明樹脂にアクリル絵具で何層にも重ねて描く「2.5Dペインティング」とも称される斬新な技法により、立体感と迫真性のある金魚を作り出してきました。深堀は自身の作品をまるで生きているかのように「見せる」一方で、それが命を持たない絵具の積層であるという事実に正面から対峙します。そこには、幻影と物質の同居というリアリズムにおける根源的な命題が横たわっています。本展では、新作を含む絵画、映像、大規模なインスタレーションなどを一挙にご紹介します。虚実の狭間をたゆたうように私たちを誘う、〈金魚繚乱〉の世界をご覧ください。
