本展は、高度成長期の東京に生まれ育ち、1988年以降は愛媛県宇和島市を拠点に制作する大竹伸朗の軌跡を7つのテーマ──「自／他」「記憶」「時間」「移行」「夢／網膜」「層」「音」──に基づいて読み解く回顧展です。 今回、ライフワークである70冊を超える《スクラップブック》や記念碑的な立体大型作品を含む、選び抜かれたおよそ500点にも及ぶ作品を、敢えて時系列から切り離し、その作品世界に没入できるよう再構築してご紹介します。
