詩人・谷川俊太郎は1960年代以降、200冊以上の絵本を制作し、言葉遊びや世界の認識、ナンセンス、そして生きることや戦争、死など幅広いテーマを扱いました。展覧会では約20冊の絵本を取り上げ、原画や映像、朗読、音、インスタレーションなど、多様な形式で谷川の絵本の世界を紹介し、子どもから大人まで楽しめる内容となっています。
