About this exhibition
Delacroix s’installa rue de Fürstenberg en 1857 ; il eut la possibilité de faire construire, dans le jardin dont il avait l’usage, un atelier de belles dimensions. Pour son seul agrément, il choisit d’orner la façade sur le jardin, rythmée à l’image de celles des demeures néoclassiques anglaises, de moulages d’oeuvres antiques. Musée national Eugène-Delacroix
