泉穴師神社（大阪府泉大津市）は7世紀中頃の創建と伝わる延喜式内社で、大きな勢力をもった神社でした。神社には83軀の神像が伝わり、うち平安時代から鎌倉時代に造られた80軀が重要文化財に指定されています。神像は経年劣化による彩色の剥落や虫損が進んでいたため、公益財団法人住友財団の文化財維持・修復の助成を受け、令和元年（2019）から4年をかけて修理が行われました。今回、修理完成記念として神像約20軀を展示します。修理でよみがえった顔立ちや文様の美しさをぜひご覧ください。
