国内外の近現代美術を主軸とした当館コレクション約8,000点のうち、浮世絵版画は約1,400点にのぼります。これまで館内外の多くの展覧会で紹介されてきた当館の浮世絵を、今回は「版元」という存在に着目して特集展示いたします。本展では、さまざまな版元たちが江戸時代の出版業界でしのぎを削るなかで生み出した浮世絵版画の名品の数々を展示します。
