Michelino da Besozzo (Michelino de Mulinari)

Michelino da Besozzo moved to Venice to avoid the reign of Giovanni Maria Visconti after the death of Gian Galeazzo Visconti, while working in Milan under the rule of the Visconti family.¹

Michelino da Besozzo created illuminated manuscripts for the funeral oration of Gian Galeazzo Visconti in 1403.¹

Around 1420, Michelino da Besozzo created the illumination 'St. Luke Painting the Virgin'.¹
